Adapted to the new reality, due to the coronavirus pandemic and taking all the necessary protection measures, the teachers of our school participating in the project team held a meeting to decide on the next steps for the continuation of European programs. Knowing about the travel ban and waiting for the students to return to school, an assessment of the progress of the programs was made and the next steps were decided. The goal of all of us is to be and remain healthy and of course, to try for the progress of the work from a distance until we return to normality. From the Greek project team, health and strength to all.
Karditsa's local newspaper about meeting in Bensheim
Recently, our school, the 1st EPA.L. of Karditsa, organized a dissemination activity for our Erasmus+ program titled: ‘Professional Orientation - My future in Europe! Chances and Challenges for young people in different European Educational Systems’. Specifically, our school hosted at its conference room for one day the proceedings of another Erasmus+ program materialized by a neighbouring school, the 4th Lyceum of Karditsa. The participating schools were from: Turkey, Romania, Latvia, Hungary and Greece. Our guests were briefly informed about our program, the meetings and the basic activities done so far. They showed great interest in the subject, and even had questions to ask! As a school, we were very pleased with this opportunity, as it was the first time, we could present our program to an audience coming from other countries. Also, we feel proud of the work all our partners have done, because it was apparent that it was done with special care.
Project Corner
FEBRUARY 2020 One of the basic actions of the European Program titled: «Professional Orientation - My future in Europe! Chances and Challenges for young people in different European Educational Systems», in which our school is participating, is the ‘project corner’. Its role is very important for any European program. Its renewal is therefore equally important, every time there is new material available. For this reason, after the Training Meeting, which took place in Bensheim, Germany in January 2020, we updated our project corner. The corner was filled with photos of the educational visits to the professional areas related to the program.
